Andreas W. Daum is Professor of History at the State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo, USA. He is the author and editor of six books, including Alexander von Humboldt (2024) and Kennedy in Berlin (2008). He works on the history of science and civic culture, emigrants from Nazi Germany, and trans-Atlantic relations in the Cold War era.
