Anouska Lester is an Honorary Research Associate with the University of York, UK, specialising in the material culture of theatre and heritage. Her research has been published in Shakespeare Bulletin, Medieval and Renaissance Drama in England, and the Victorian Popular Fictions Association Journal. She has worked with the Ashmolean Museum, Victoria and Albert Museum, London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, Shakespeare Birthplace Trust, and Society of Antiquaries of London. She has been an AHRC Huntington Library Fellow, and she is an incoming Ann Ball Bodley Fellow in Women’s History at the Bodleian Library, and International Diversity Guest Professor at the University of Bamberg, Germany.
