Charlene da Silva

Charlene da Silva liked sharks enough to make a career out of studying them. Today, she is a shark researcher and author of numerous scientific publications, and has spent years studying sharks at sea, in laboratories and around meeting tables, where science helps shape fisheries policy and conservation. Her research has contributed to a better understanding of sharks and their place in an increasingly busy ocean.
