Emma Muir-Smith is an award-winning writer and director whose international career encompasses theatre, opera and classical music. She is particularly interested in exploring the relationship between music and drama across different performance disciplines. She holds an MA in Text and Performance (writing/directing) from RADA, UK, and an MMus in Opera Performance from the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, where she initially studied as a singer. She has also worked and published as an arts critic in Australia.
