Frances Howorth

Frances Howorth is a Professional Yachtmaster who has worked as a Purser on a wide variety of charter and private yachts, from 60 to 240 feet, sailing all over the world. She has written extensively about the yachting industry, producing magazine features, technical reports, training manuals and books. She is co-author of The Liferaft Survival Guide, Sea Survival Manual, The Grab Bag Book, and Reeds Marine Deck 3: Deck Officers’ Guide to Bridge Procedures all published by Adlard Coles.
