Jaakko Seppälä is Lecturer in Film and Television Studies at the University of Helsinki, Finland. His research focuses on Nordic cinema and television, with a particular interest in transnational perspectives on style, meaning and affect. He is co-editor of Nordic Noir, Adaptation, Appropriation (2020) and co-author of ReFocus: The Films of Teuvo Tulio – An Excessive Outsider (2020). His research has also appeared in edited book collections and journals.
