Biography

M. Ruth Dike is a cultural anthropologist who examines the ways that societies change over time, especially regarding gender, social class, and labor politics in and outside of the family. She has conducted ethnographic research in Morocco and the United States and regularly teaches courses related to cultural anthropology, engaged anthropology, the Middle East and North Africa, food, and feminist ethnography.
