Rusty Barrett (Edward Rush Barrett) is Chair and Professor of Linguistics at the University of Kentucky, USA. With Kira Hall, he co-edited the Oxford Handbook of Language and Sexuality, and co-authored the revised third edition of Lippi-Green's English with an Accent. His research spans language, gender and sexuality, and Mayan languages.
