Sercan Öztekin is a Lecturer in the School of Foreign Languages at Kocaeli University (Turkey). He was a Visiting Postdoctoral Researcher at Queen Mary, University of London in the academic year 2023-2024. His research interests include Victorian literature, crime and sensation fiction, cultural studies, and Orientalism.
