Tracy Bealer

Tracy Bealer is an Associate Professor of English at Borough of Manhattan Community College-CUNY. She specializes in twentieth- and twenty-first-century American pop culture and genre fiction, and has published and lectured frequently on the intersection of gender and politics in film, television, and comics. She writes about true crime, crime fiction, and the spaces in between on her Substack newsletter, True Crime Fiction. She lives in New York City with her partner and cat.
