Dr. Winston Gooden is Dean Emeritus and Professor of Clinical Psychology (Emeritus) who retired from Fuller Theological Seminary in 2014. He served on the faculty of Fuller from 1984-2014, the last 14 years of which he served as Dean. He graduated from Muskingum College (now Muskingum University) with a BA in philosophy in 1970. He received a MDIV from Yale University Divinity School in 1973 and the PhD in Clinical Psychology from Yale in 1980. In addition to his teaching and research in Adult Development, Individual and Group Psychotherapy, he has, as an ordained minister, provided pastoral leadership and counseling in churches in the African Methodist Episcopal Zion denomination.
