Alyson Quinn

Alyson Quinn was an Adjunct Professor at the University of British Columbia School of Social Work for 7 years and taught two terms in the Dept of Education and Counselling Psychology. She has taught a wide range of trauma related courses and is currently the Director of the Trauma informed Practice Institute where she facilitates workshops regarding training in Trauma informed Practice. She is also an author of 4 books on the topic of trauma and a chapter in a social work textbook. She has over 30 years of experience as a Mental Health counsellor and group therapist working with clients impacted by trauma. She is an author of 2 novels.
