Declan Lloyd teaches in the departments of sociology and literature at Lancaster University, UK. He is the author of Authors and Art Movements of the Twentieth Century: Painterly Poetics (2022), The Art of Orality: Cultural Aesthetics in the Absence of Writing (2024) and co-editor of Digressions in Deep Time: Ecocritical Approaches to Literature and the Arts (Lexington/Bloomsbury). His current research explores areas of aesthetics, culture studies and ecocriticism.
