Lucian Georgescu is Senior Screenwriting Chair at the National University of Theater and Film (UNATC), Romania, co-chair of the Screenwriting Research Network (SRN) Executive Council, and founder of cinepub.ro, Romania's online legal cinema archive. He was awarded National Knight of Culture (2024) by the Romanian Presidency and SRN Teaching Innovation Award (2025). His recent publications include “Death as a Theme. An Interview with Cristi Puiu”, Iluminace 37(2), 197-212 (2025), and Cinepub 1.0 (Polirom, 2024).
