Biography

Siobhan Lambert Hurley is a historian of modern South Asia with interests in gender, Islam, travel, food, among others. She is a professor of global history at the University of Sheffield, the United Kingdom, with numerous books and articles to her name. Together, they edited Forgotten Foods: Memories and Recipes from Muslim South Asia with Claire Chambers. In collaboration with Benazir Farms in Rampur, they are also working to resurrect historic rice varieties.
