Biography

Dr Anthony Isiwele is a research fellow, lecturer, researcher and registered social worker specialising in mental health inequalities, intersectionality and cultural humility. His research explores how culture, identity, structural inequalities and lived experience shape mental health and access to care, particularly among Black and minoritized communities. He developed the Intersectionality-Based Cultural Humility Analysis (IBCHA) framework, an innovative approach designed to support more equitable, culturally responsive, and socially just research, policy, and practice.
