Biography

David Krell is a frequent speaker at Society for American Baseball Research conferences and the Cooperstown Symposium on Baseball and American Culture. His articles have appeared in SABR’s Baseball Research Journal, The National Pastime, and the New York State Bar Association’s Entertainment, Arts and Sports Law Journal. Krell’s books include 1962: Baseball and America in the Time of JFK, 1978: Baseball and America in the Disco Era, The Fenway Effect: A Cultural History of the Boston Red Sox, and Do You Believe in Magic? Baseball and America in the Groundbreaking Year of 1966. He lives in Jersey City, New Jersey.
