FAHAD L. ALGHALIB ALSHARIF is a senior research fellow and head of the Migration and Labor Market Program at the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies in Saudi Arabia. He is the author of numerous articles on migration in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf states, and co-authored Saudi Policies Towards Migration and Refugees: A Sacred Duty with Joseph Kéchichian (2022). He is a member of the Oxford University Press Editorial Board for the Migration Studies Journal and a member of the Advisory Board for the Gulf Labor Markets, Migration, and Population (GLMM) Program, based in Geneva.
