Biography

Graham Hoyland is an author, explorer, TV producer and public speaker. He was the 15th Briton to climb Mount Everest and published his first book about finding Mallory, Last Hours on Everest, in 2013. He has also published several other titles, including Yeti: An Abominable History, Walking through Spring: An English Journey, Merlin: The Power Behind the Spitfire, Mosquito and Lancaster, and Jet: The Engine that Changed the World. As a BBC TV producer, he was responsible for BBC 2's biggest-grossing documentary, Lost of Everest, and worked on Dragon's Den. He worked for the BBC in Syria and Iraq and has passed the infamous Hostile Environment Training course.
