Meena Menon is an independent scholar and journalist based in Mumbai, India. She is former Bureau Chief/Deputy Editor of The Hindu. She obtained her PhD from the School of History at the University of Leeds, UK and is the author of Riots and After in Mumbai (2011), Reporting Pakistan (2017) and, with Uzramma, A Frayed History: The Journey Of Cotton In India (2017).
