Biography
Captain Michael Howorth first went to sea with P&O and moved into professional yachting during the 1990s having sailed the oceans on tankers, container carriers, general cargo ships and passenger liners. He has commanded several significant superyachts the largest of which is 77 metres. He is also co-author of The Liferaft Survival Guide, Sea Survival Manual, The Grab Bag Book and Reeds Marine Deck 3: Deck Officers’ Guide to Bridge Procedures all published by Adlard Coles.
