Sarah Ailwood is Associate Professor of Law at the University of Wollongong, Australia. Her research investigates intersections between law, literature, history and feminism, with a focus on women’s writing in the eighteenth century and Romantic era. She is the author of Jane Austen’s Men: Rewriting Masculinity in the Romantic Era (2020), co-Managing Editor of the Australian Feminist Law Journal and Chief Investigator on the Australian Research Council-funded Discovery Project, “Women’s Voices, Listening and Law and Policy Reform on Violence Against Women”.
