Biography

Terry Hamblin is Professor of History at State University of New York-Delhi, USA, where he teaches courses in U.S. history, Latin American history, International Relations, Macroeconomics, popular culture, the history of rock music, and the Beatles. His field of specialization is modern American History, with an emphasis on diplomatic and political history and cultural studies. His current research focuses on the interconnection between popular culture and politics, and is currently writing a book on the cultural, social, and political impact of the Beatles and their music during the 1960s.
