Biography

Wendy Gadian is a musical director, pianist, musical arranger and teacher. Between 2008 and 2024, she was Director of Music and Course Leader of the BA Acting Musical Theatre at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. She has also worked extensively as a musical supervision across a range of productions and venues including the National Theatre, Donmar Warehouse, Hackney Empire and on tour. She has led masterclasses at the National Opera Studio, Pegasus Opera, Young Vic Theatre, Royal Northern College of Music, Guildhall School of Music and Dram, Oxford University and Durham University. She holds a Visiting Professorship from the Universidad de Rosario, Colombia; an Honorary Research Fellowship (University of London) and the honorary title of Ambassador for Women in Theatre from the Musicians’ Union.
