Brett Bricker is Associate Director of Debate and Head Debate Coach in the Department of Communication Studies at the University of Kansas, USA. He earned his BA in mathematics, MA in communication studies, and PhD in communication studies from the University of Kansas. Brett's debate teams have won the National Debate Tournament, Cross Examination Debate Association national tournament, and the Copeland Award, which is awarded to the top performing team during the regular season. Brett teaches classes on environmental communication, debate, argumentation, and coaching. Brett's research focuses on science communication, argumentation, debate pedagogy, and political communication. His research has been published in Rhetoric & Public Affairs and Argumentation & Advocacy.
