Cynthia Pope is a Professor of Geography at Central Connecticut State University, USA. Her research and teaching addresses the intersections of health policy, gender, ethnicity, and migration, with an emphasis on the Latin America and Caribbean region. She has edited several books on globalization and HIV/AIDS.
