Elizabeth Cripps
Biography
Elizabeth Cripps is a writer, activist and academic. She is a senior lecturer in Political Theory at the University of Edinburgh and has written two popular philosophy books: What Climate Justice Means and Why We Should Care (Bloomsbury, 2022) and Parenting on Earth: A Philosopher’s Guide to Doing Right by Your Kids – and Everyone Else (MIT Press, 2023).
She is also the author of Climate Change and the Moral Agent: Individual Duties in an Interdependent World (Oxford University Press, 2013). She has published in leading journals and given invited talks in numerous prestigious institutions, including the Universities of Oxford, Cambridge, Warwick and Frankfurt, the Stockholm Futures Institution, and University College London.
