Hilla Dayan is a sociologist and lecturer at Amsterdam University College, the Netherlands. She completed her PhD at the New School for Social Research, US. Dayan is a public speaker, commentator on Israel Palestine and has been active in the Mizrahi movement since the 1990s. She is co-founder of civil society organizations Academia for Equality and gate48, a platform for critical Israelis in the Netherlands.
