Biography

John D. Mayer is Professor of Psychology at the University of New Hampshire. He has published extensively on personality, personality assessment and people-centered intelligences. He is a fellow of the American Psychological Society and a member of the Association for Research in Personality and the Society for Personality Assessment. He is the author of Personal Intelligence: The Power of Personality and How it Shapes Our Lives. His work has been featured in New York Times, Time Magazine, NPR, the BBC and Scientific American Mind. He has lectured widely on the topics of emotional intelligence, personal intelligence and personality more broadly.
