Thomas H. Ford is Associate Professor of English at La Trobe University, Australia. He has written extensively on Romantic and Australian literatures and cultures, with books including Wordsworth and the Poetics of Air (2018), How to Read a Poem: Seven Steps (2021), and Barron Field: The Poetics of Terra Nullius (2023), which he co-authored with Justin Clemens. From 2025 to 2029, he is undertaking an ARC Future Fellowship on the political history of Australian colonial poetry.
