A university in the grip of capitalist, colonialist forces, would do well to take note of the potential multiversity of disruptive states and deviant strategies envisioned here. Burrows' tremendous work evokes the informal pedagogy of art school's partial community to generate a cosmopolitical fictioning device, holding futurity open to divergent relations and improvised transformative imaginaries. Phenomenal in scope and mobility, textured with opaque stickiness, evolving diagrams and quantum physics, this book is in itself cosmic.
