Alessandro Carrera is Chair of the Department of Modern and Classical Languages and Director of Italian Studies at the University of Houston, Texas, USA. His research focuses on the genealogy of creativity in philosophy, literature, and music. He has edited and prefaced the English edition of works by Italian philosophers (Cacciari, Severino, Sini).
