Ani Kokobobo is Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Slavic and Eurasian Languages and Literatures at the University of Kansas, USA. She has published widely on Russian literature and culture, and her writings have appeared in The Chronicle of Higher Education and the Washington Post. She has been Editor of the Tolstoy Studies Journal, and is the author of Russian Grotesque Realism (2018).
