Claire Westall is Senior Lecturer in Contemporary Literature at the University of York, UK. She is author of The Rites of Cricket and Caribbean Literature (2021), co-author of The Public on the Public (2014) and co-editor of Prison Writing and the Literary World (2021), Literature of an Independent England (2013) and Cross-Gendered Literary Voices (2012). She has published widely on the relationship between cricket and literature.
