Dr. Elise Imray Papineau is a socio-cultural anthropologist and feminist researcher whose academic work is deeply rooted in activism. She completed her PhD at Griffith University in 2023 and received an Award of Excellence for her thesis on gender and activism across Australia, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
