Emil Tangham Hazelhurst is Associate Lecturer of corpus linguistics at Lancaster University, UK, teaching undergraduate and MA courses. He is the recipient of the Geoffrey Leech scholarship and is currently participating in an ESRC funded research project in collaboration with the British Council involving language testing and acquisition through the use of corpus techniques. He has published previously in areas of ecocriticism and corpus analysis. He is currently working on multiple corpus linguistics research projects for Lancaster University and its industry partners.
