Ibrahim Natil is a research fellow of the DCU Conflict Institute at Dublin City University and an associate professor of international relations and diplomacy at Joaan Bin Jassim Academy. Natil has published nine books, 60 articles and book chapters on the topics of international relations, development and politics, and was awarded the Chambers Prize by the Development Studies Association of Ireland (2017). Natil is a visiting lecturer at the University of Law, Business school and elected a council member of DSA-UK for a three-year term in (2024-2027) and co-convenor of the NGOs in Development Study Group DSA-UK since 2018.
