Paula Sweeney is Senior Lecturer in Philosophy at the University of Aberdeen, UK. She is also a Research Fellow on the AI phase of the Templeton Trust-funded interdisciplinary project From Despair to Hope and a co-investigator on the British Academy International Interdisciplinary Research Project Governing AI in the Final Frontier. She is author of Social Robots: A Fictional Dualism Model (Bloomsbury, 2023) and numerous publications on AI ethics and technology.
