Seth Quintus is a Professor of Anthropology at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa, USA. His research studies the historical and social ecologies of preindustrial agriculture and resource management in Polynesia, with a particular focus on Hawai'i and Samoa. His recent research has been published in Journal of Archaeological Research, World Archaeology, Antiquity, and PLOS ONE.
