Dr. Terrell Strayhorn is associate provost and professor of education and psychology at Virginia Union University, where he also serves as interim dean in the School of Education and director of research in the Center for the Study of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Author of 14 books, including College Students’ Sense of Belonging and co-editor of Belonging in Higher Education, Professor Strayhorn has published over 200 academic publications in leading sources including peer-reviewed journal articles, data-based book chapters, reviews, and reports.
