Description
But I thought the parent company do 'data integration'? How is blowing us up 'data integration'?!
A TV production company gets word from Whitehall that they must adapt their programming to align with the government's new policy to rapidly prepare the country for war. Panicked, the producers offer writer Tobias an exorbitant amount of money to pen a 'pro-weapons sitcom', forcing him to choose between his morals and his mortgage. Target Audience is a sharp comic response to this ever-shifting landscape and our unstable world. This timely play uses humour to explore big ideas about safety, power and influence, as well as our instinct to protect ourselves and those closest to us.
This edition was published to coincide with production at the Pleasance at Edinburgh Festival Fringe in August 2026.
