Cynthia Felando is Distinguished Senior Lecturer in Film and Media studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara, USA. She is Editor of Short Film Studies, a peer-reviewed academic journal. She is author of Discovering Short Films: The History and Style of Live-Action Fiction Shorts (2015). She has contributed to several edited collections including The Bloomsbury Handbook to Sofia Coppola (Bloomsbury Academic, 2022), The Films of Spike Jonze (2019), and The Routledge Companion to World Cinema (forthcoming).
