Description
A Few of my Favourite Things includes over 90 of inspirational baker Sourdough Sophia's most treasured, cherished and delicious recipes.
Sophia began baking for others in her home kitchen only six years ago and now has four Sourdough Sophia bakeries across London with more to come. The recipes in his book share the breadth of her baking. There are simple sweet bakes like Cereal Milk Cookies, delicious cakes such as Tiramisu Cake and Desserts like Lemon Meringue Croissant Pie. There are recipes and techniques to grow baking skills from Sophia's signature Sourdough Loaf to her much-loved Key Lime Cruffin.
Sitting alongside these are savoury pastries and sandwiches from all corners of the globe, from a Korean Fried Cauliflower Sando to a Cheese and Marmite Twist. There is a whole chapter on Christmas with recipes which Sophia's learnt in her German childhood such as beautiful Vanillekipferl (crescent-shaped vanilla Christmas cookies) and Stollen.
